Memory Mastery

Learn to remember things instantly. Facts & figures, phone numbers, names & faces, vocabulary, etc.

Most of us have not been taught how to learn and memorize information. At school, children are expected simply to review material over and over again by rote until they remember the information. It's very inefficient, time consuming and just plain hard work!

By learning Memory Tricks - many used by the great orators in Greek and Roman times to remember long stories and speeches - you can develop a system for remembering information the very first time you learn it. The memory systems that will be discussed and taught in the workshop have been extended for the Japanese language, by using regular Japanese kana.

In this workshop, we will cover the most useful memory tricks and practice them. By the end of the day, you will be able to remember lists of 100 items with ease, plus 100 new English words (bring your dictionary!), 100 names of strangers, the telephone numbers of all your friends and acquaintances, the sequence of ideas you'd like to present in a speech (no more notes!), all 50 American States (with their capital cities), and anything else you'd like to remember, even difficult medical or legal terms. You decide what you want to learn and remember and I'll show you how to do it in the workshop.
